Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is a free, informal, and relaxed seven-week course. It’s for anyone who wants to think through what Christianity says about the meaning of life. It’s designed to help you explore the big issues we all think about. It’s run by St. Paul’s Church and looks at the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ. You can ask any question you want and meet people on a similar journey to you. We each get one life to live – Christianity Explored helps you to explore what it’s all about.

A small group of people meet for an hour and a half. The session begins with time to chat and relax over tea or coffee with a nice cake. There’s time to find out for yourself what the Bible says about Jesus Christ and the meaning of life. Then there’s a short film lasting about 15 minutes focussing on a part of Jesus’ life. Finally, there’s a discussion time when you can ask questions or sit and listen to others.
You can say as much or as little as you like. And don’t worry – you’ll never be asked to sing, pray or read aloud. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible either. And if you have to miss a week that’s OK too. You can pull out at any time you like, for any reason.

When? Every Sunday for 7 sessions, starting January 12th 2024 (but not February 23rd as it’s half-term)

Time? 4pm to 5.30pm

Where? St Paul’s Church, Neighbourhood Centre, Canford Heath, Poole, BH17 9DW. It’s just off Culliford Crescent, opposite the entrance to ASDA’s carpark.
