WELCOME

WELCOME TO ST PAUL’S

Whether you’ve just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, you are very welcome at St Paul’s.

WHERE & WHEN DOES THE CHURCH MEET?

Our main church service is on Sundays at 10.00am.

You can find us at: St Paul’s Church, Neighbourhood Centre, Canford Heath, Poole, BH17 9DW

You can park for free in the large Neighbourhood Centre car park that is right next to the Church.

CAN I JUST TURN UP?

Absolutely! There’s no need to book, reserve a seat, pay an entry fee, or anything like that.

IS THERE ANYTHING FOR CHILDREN??

We have a fun Sunday Club with games, activities, and age appropriate Bible teaching for 3 to 18 year olds. It’s on every 10am service except on the third Sunday of the month when all ages stay in the service together. We also have a play corner in Church for babies and toddlers under parental supervision.

CAN I WATCH ONLINE?

Yes! You can watch our services on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@StPaulsChurchCanfordHeath

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your ‘normal’ clothes.

WILL I HAVE TO JOIN IN?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

IS THE SERVICE ACCESSIBLE?

There is access for wheelchair users through our main door in the church building. We operate a hearing loop system for those who need it. The songs and all the words are available via a QR code inside the Church – just ask the welcomers on your way in. We have an accessible toilet near the main entrance.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON THE DAY?

When you arrive you will be greeted at the front door by one or two members of our Welcome Team – and perhaps the Vicar. Upon entering the church you’ll then find somewhere to sit (unless you want to mingle and get to know the friendly people at St. Paul’s!). You can sit in any of the available chairs. The service will begin at 10am so you can arrive any time before then. It will include a mixture of prayers, Bible readings, teaching, and singing – all led from the front, so you don’t need to worry about a thing! Refreshments will be served after the service (real coffee, tea, biscuits, and juice or squash for children). It’s a good opportunity to get to know people, but if you need to dash home straight after the service that’s fine with us!
