The church supports Poole Food Bank which helps individuals and families who, for a variety of reasons, do not have the money to buy the food they need. There is a basket at the back of the church, on the right hand side as you go in, for food donations. The food we donate makes such a difference to so many people. NOTE: We do not give out food – for that, you have to go the foodbank. We need someone to take the Food items, each week, to the Poole Food Bank. The Food Bank is only open week day mornings so you would need to be free during the day. There are usually a lot of tins so it can be heavy lifting although there will be someone in church to help you load the items into your car and some help at the Food Bank the other end. If you think you could help, please let the church office know.

The Food Bank is always grateful for what we, and the other churches in Poole, provide. Some items such as tinned fish, pasta, long life milk and long life fruit juice are particularly welcome. Food should ideally have a shelf-life of 6 months and tins with ring-pulls are very useful. This is the list of items which the Food Bank always needs:
Milk (UHT/Powdered) Pasta/Rice (1kg)
Cereal Tinned Vegetables
Tinned Soup Tea bags/Coffee
Fruit Juice (carton) Instant Mash Potato
Pasta Sauces Tinned Meat/Fish
Baked Beans Tinned Fruit
Rice/Sponge Pudding (tinned) Sugar (500g)
Tomatoes (tinned Biscuits/Snack Bars
