Children and Young People’s Groups

Good news! As life slowly returns to normal some of our groups are starting to meet again. If you would like to find out more please contact the church office for more information.

Each of the groups has its own page so you may like to explore the ‘Young People’ menu to find out more.

SUNDAY CLUB is back! During the 10am service we have a fun group for school age children up to year 9 with Bible stories & teaching, activities, games and snacks. We hope that as life returns to normal, and families and volunteers return to St Paul’s, we will be able to provide a full programme of teaching and activities for a wider age range of children and young people.  On the third Sunday of the month we have a child friendly All-Age service.

LITTLE TREASURES our Toddler group is back! The group meet on Thursday afternoons during term time from 1.30pm. Parents, grandparents, carers, babies and toddlers are welcome for a friendly chat, and plenty of activities for busy preschool children! First visit is free, then £1 per family to cover the cost of refreshments and craft activities.

The following groups are currently paused:

Friday evenings from 5pm until 7pm: HEATH CAFÉ is for children in school years 4, 5, 6 and 7. Food is provided and there are games, crafts and activities . The group meet in the Church hall. Cost £1. Tuck shop sweets and drinks for a small cost.

Once a month: D-TEAM is our discipleship/Bible study group for 11 to 16-year olds.  It’s led by Natalie and Matt Williams and meets on the last Tuesday of the month, 7.30pm to 8.45pm, at their home. If you’d like to know more please ask.

Second Sundays at 4pm: FRESH is our relaxed, informal get-together for families with children and young people.  There’s a choice of craft and activities – you get to choose what you do and in what order. There’s a bible story, singing and prayers and at 5pm there’s a light meal for the children. There’s copious amounts of tea and coffee for the adults. Voluntary donations for the cost of materials and food are gratefully received.

At Easter we have our annual holiday club for school aged children.  We have drama, crafts, songs and fun! It is a wonderful opportunity for the children to make some discoveries about God and following Jesus.
