A live music event to raise funds for Sound Improvement will be held at St Paul’s on Saturday 1st June at 10 am to Noon. There will be coffee, cakes, soup and a roll, followed at 11.30 am by a short organ recital.  PLUS – Because of popularity of the first fundraising CD Jim Green has produced a second CD, which will be available on 1st June.  Click here for details of the Sound System Improvement Project

Studland Village Hall

St Paul’s Church Day Away, Saturday 8 June at Studland Village hall. A free day of fun, food, friends, relaxation, singing, praying, and being equipped to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those we know. Donations welcome but not essential. The day will start with breakfast at 8:45am and finish with a beach BBQ at 6pm. Please pick up a leaflet at the back of church or click here to download a booking form. Forms need to be returned to the church office by 26 May.

What to bring on the day: You will need…
• A bible, notebook and pen (preferably an NIV bible)
• Sun cream, chairs/blanket, swim stuff, water bottle and anything else you may need for the beach.
• To bring your own lunch. There’s limited fridge space so please put it in a cool bag if you can.
• Some money for the car park at Knoll Beach, and to make a voluntary donation (if you’d like to).
• Wet weather clothes, walking boots etc.

Confirmation Preparation: 4.30pm to 5.30pm on 23rd June and 21st July 2019 to be led by Matt. Bishop Karen Gorham, Bishop of Sherborne, will conduct a confirmation service at 6pm on Saturday 5th October 2019 (venue TBC). To find out more about what confirmation means pick up a leaflet from the back of church. If you have any further question please talk to Matt. Please sign the sheet at the back of church if you are interested in attending the course.

Save the date … Big Summer Sing, Thursday 25 July, 7 pm at St Paul’s Church.  A selection of favourite hymns and bible readings chosen by the congregation. More details to follow nearer the time.

Church ARCH  Representative required. ARCH are looking someone to represent St. Paul’s Church at  ARCH meetings and to coordinate involvement in ARCH initiatives.  A role description is available at the back of church.  If you are interested in or would like to find out  more please talk to Matt.
