Discipleship Course 2018 with Precept Ministries UK  October 17th and 31st, November 14th, St. Paul’s Church, 7.30 to 9.15pm You are surrounded by a world that’s watching you, waiting to see if what you say is true–if you really believe what you say and “walk the walk you talk.” That thought may seem overwhelming, even intimidating. Nigel and Molly Watts of Precept Ministries UK are coming back to guide us into a deeper understanding of God’s Word. We will study vital passages from Ephesians to discover what God says about the lifestyle of a true believer. It will equip you to live in a manner worthy of your calling–with the ultimate goal of developing a life marked by maturity, Christ-likeness, and peace.

The Christian Charity Foundation Matters have produced 30 free videos for a new series called ‘Journey through John’. They retell and explain the gospel according to the Apostle John. They are well made, each is about 5 minutes long, and would be a good resource for sharing the gospel with your friends. Find them here: https://www.foundationmatters.org/media.


Beetle Drive with Fish & Chips, Saturday 10 November, 6:30-9:30pm. Cost £6 for Fish & Chips or £3.50 for sausage, nuggets or fishcake with chips. Tickets available from the church office. Please sign the list on the board near the kitchen and write down the options you require.  Click to see poster.


Remembrance Sunday: This year on Sunday 11th November we will be commemorating 100 years since the end of the 1st World War. During the service we would like to read out the names of those known to us who died during this conflict. If there is someone you would like us to remember please send an email to Verity, giving the following details:- Name: Rank: Place / Battle where they were killed. Please provide this information by 15 October.


A Service for the Bereaved will take place on Sunday 18 November at 3pm. Please let the office know the name of any loved one, who has passed away, who you would like read out during this  service.  Please invite people to this service, all are welcome.

St Mary’s church, Fordingbridge presents  Fordwick Village Christmas 1918, a life size  village to commemorate the end of the Great War. Many events will take place over 17th,18th & 19th  November  open from 10am-4.30pm.  Free  admission, please see the notice on the board in the foyer for more information.




St Paul’s Christmas Market will take place on Saturday 1 December from 10am-2pm.  Please could you help with the following items; 1) Any festive items for a Christmas hamper that will be our main raffle prize. 2) Jam Jar sized glass jars filled with wrapped sweets. Please bring items into church
