The St. Paul’s Memory Verse Challenge 2: One of the most helpful things we can do is read and memorise Scripture. To help you, we are teaching some of the most important verses of the Bible – one every two weeks. There is a booklet for you to take home (one per person) and an online version if you prefer it by clicking on this link:

This is plea for your old unwanted ties! a collection of unwanted men’s ties is being made for a charity which sends them to the Philippines on behalf of local charity Win on Waste. Women living on rubbish dumps make them into bags and cushion covers which are shipped back to the UK and sold here. The money raised goes out to the women to help them get out of destitution and the possibility of being trafficked. Please bring your unwanted ties into church by Oct 4th

Mission to the Muslim World – Who is my Neighbour? A day to educate and equip you to engage Muslims with the Gospel. Keynote Speaker:Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali, plus workshops. Refreshments provided but bring your own lunch.Sat 7 October, 9.30am till 4pm at St John’s Church in Wimborne. Tickets £10 from St John’s Church Office 01202 842 255.

Men’s Group – Skittles Match, Coach and Horses, Wimborne 9th October

HARVEST BREAKFAST Sunday 15 October at 8am in the church hall. Come along for bacon rolls, cereals, tea/coffee, juice and harvest themed activities. Please donate whatever you can afford for this breakfast. Please sign the yellow sheet on the notice board by the kitchen if you would like to attend this event.

Ideas that Changed the World:  A course on the Reformation to mark its 500th anniversary. Come along to learn more about the Reformation, the key truths that gave birth to Protestant churches such as the Church of England and the role four key men played in the Reformation: Martin Luther, John Calvin, William Tyndale and Thomas Cranmer (the first Archbishop of Canterbury).  When? October 5th and 19th, November 2nd and 16th. Where? St. Paul’s Church. What time? 7.30pm for 7.45pm start. Ends 9pm. It’s a free course but voluntary donations towards the cost of materials & refreshments will be gratefully received.
