Christianity Explored 2019

  • Maybe you go to Church regularly, or maybe you’ve never been.
  • Perhaps you have lots of questions to ask, or perhaps you’d rather just sit and listen.
  • You might think of yourself as a confused Christian, or convinced atheist or somewhere in between.

Whoever you are, whatever you’re thinking, Christianity Explored is a place for you to explore what life is all about.

What is Christianity Explored? Christianity Explored is a free, informal and relaxed seven-week course.  It’s for anyone who wants to think through what Christianity says about the meaning of life. It’s designed to help you explore the big issues we all think about. It’s run by St. Paul’s Church. It looks at the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ. You can ask any question you want and meet people on a similar journey to you. We each get one life to live – Christianity Explored helps you to explore what it’s all about.

What happens at Christianity Explored?

A small group of people meet for an hour and a half. It begins at 4pm with time to chat and relax over a tea or coffee. There’s time to find out for yourself what the Bible says about Jesus Christ and there’s a short DVD focussing on a part of Jesus’ life. Finally, there’s a discussion time when you can ask questions or sit and listen to others.

You can say as much or as little as you like. And don’t worry – you’ll never be asked to sing, pray or read aloud. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible either. And if you have to miss a week that’s OK too. You can pull out at any time you like, for any reason.

New! For the first time we are going to run the course at the same time as Fresh, our monthly fun and family-friendly get together with crafts, activities and bible stories. This means parents can do the course while their children are being looked after by the DBS checked Fresh leaders.

When? Every second Sunday of the month for 7 sessions, starting January 13th 2019.

Time? 4pm to 5:30pm.

Where? St Paul’s Church, Neighbourhood Centre, Canford Heath, Poole, BH17 9DW. It’s just off Culliford Crescent, opposite the entrance to ASDA’s carpark.
